Coaching and leadership philosophy in a tech world.

My coaching education has taught me that all true and lasting change comes from the inside. Instead of trying to change a situation or a person I will look to myself first for change and ask myself “what can I do right now to make a difference?” This way I myself will become the change that I want to see in the world, and improve myself before I try to improve others.

The 'Three main pillars' in my leadership style have always been: Openness, Trust and Commitment to work. Without openness and transparency, there can be no trust and without both openness and trust no one can really commit to their work and their community.

Trust also creates the freedom to accomplish given tasks in one’s personal way. When we are able to reach commitment through trust and openness, opportunities for creating winning cultures in teams and organizations are created.

New technology and digital business platforms aim to make humans’ lives better, our world safer, and our lives more productive. More and more of data analysis, processing and pattern recognition is automated. This digitalization emphasizes the importance of creative new thinking.

Despite the digital core around us in every service , we still always need human-level communication and collaboration. There is a need to bring people together. Only from collaborative interaction can we gain the exceptional learning capabilities that make humans special.

This will put people and the human factor in the center again.
